Letvia practica en las áreas de propiedad inmobiliaria y hospitalidad, incluyendo el desarrollo y financiamiento comercial de bienes inmobiliarios; desarrollo inmobiliario de centros comerciales, financiamiento y contratos de arrendamiento; desarrollo y financiamiento de hoteles y centros turísticos internacionales; planificación urbana; contratos de arrendamiento comercial; adquisiciones; transacciones internacionales; franquicias y concesiones; y litigios comerciales.

Nacida en Cuba, Letvia ha residido y practicado en el Distrito de Columbia, Florida, Puerto Rico y California.  Ha desarrollado amplia experiencia en las áreas de derecho inmobiliario, derecho comercial e internacional, litigio y almirantazgo.  Es multilingüe y practica en los sistemas de derecho común (common law) y civil.  Ha trabajado en el desarrollo inmobiliario de proyectos turísticos, residenciales y comerciales en Estados Unidos, América Latina y el Caribe.

Letvia es miembro de la Asociación Mexicana de Desarrolladores Turísticos y de la Asociación Canadiense de Desarrolladores de Centros Turísticos (Canadian Resort Development Association).  Participa como miembro del Advisory Board of the International Hotel Investment Forum, del Comité de Dirección de la Conferencia sobre Inversión Turística y Hotelera del Caribe, de la Cumbre de las Américas sobre la Inversión en Alojamiento, y es Chair del Consejo de la Cámara de Comercio de Estados Unidos-México, Capítulo Regional California-Pacífico.

Asimismo, Letvia es miembro activo del State Bar of California, District of Columbia Bar Association, Hispanic Nacional Bar Association y Colegio de Abogados de Puerto Rico.

Es egresada de la Universidad de Louisville (B.A., summa cum laude, 1972), Georgetown University School of Foreign Service (M.A.,.1976) y Georgetown University Law Center (J.D.  1980).

Antes de formar Preston Arza LLP en el otoño de 2009, Letvia fue counsel en los bufetes Ballard Spahr LLP en Los Ángeles, California, y Baker Hostetler LLP en Los Ángeles, California, y asociada y asesora comercial para Latinoamérica en el bufete Greenberg Traurig LLP en Santa Monica, California.
